      Working conditions

  1. The nanny/caregiver must be guaranteed full time hours.
  2. The nanny/caregiver must reside at the family residence
  3. All employment conditions must be in accordance with the employment standards for your Province; this includes regular hours of work, overtime, stat. pay, holiday pay, time off, sick pay, room and board,

    and any other regulations not mentioned above.

Housework and Cooking
Nannies and Caregivers are willing to perform all house-cleaning duties as well as food preparation and cooking.

Placement Fees

We have 2 options:  $595 with a 3 month guarantee OR $795 with a 6 month guarantee.  Fees are due only once the employment contract is accepted and signed. This fee covers interviewing, advertising, government applications and registration, employment contract, payroll set-up and training and on-going support.

Our Guarantee

Our guarantee period only begins from the day your nanny or caregiver starts their employment. If the nanny/caregiver resigns or has her services terminated during this guarantee period we will replace the nanny/caregiver for you at no charge or we will refund you a prorated amount of the placement fee if no suitable candidate is found. 

Waiting period for a Nanny or Caregiver to arrive in Canada

This depends on where the nanny is originating from and on each individual application. On average most applications take between 3 and 5 months to process from the day you have chosen a suitable candidate. FULL TIME LIVE-IN PLACEMENTS
(Foreign applicants already in Canada on the live-in caregiver program)


Working conditions

FULL TIME LIVE-OUT PLACEMENTS
(Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents)


Working conditions
1.  The nanny or caregiver must be guaranteed a minimum of 25 hours a week.

2.  All employment conditions must be in accordance with the employment standards for your Province;

     this includes regular hours of work, overtime, stat. pay, holiday pay, time off, sick pay, and any

     other regulations not mentioned above.

    

Salaries
Wage rates are negotiable and should be discussed at the interview. You can expect to pay between $12 and $18 an hour depending on your location, the expected responsibilities, the amount of children or persons needing care and the experience of the nanny or caregiver.

Housework and Cooking
Live-out Nannies and Caregivers do not typically perform house-cleaning and cooking duties, however you can discuss this option during the interview if needed. Light housekeeping and meal preparation directly relating to care will be considered.

Placement Fees

$695 with a 3 month guarantee.  Fees are due on the day your nanny or caregiver starts employment. This fee covers screening and interviewing, advertising, working schedule with responsibilities or employment contract, payroll set-up and on-going support.

SUMMER AND TEMP PLACEMENTS

Summer or Temp Nannies and Caregivers do not typically perform house-cleaning and cooking duties, however you can discuss this option during the interview if needed. Light housekeeping and meal preparation directly relating to care will be considered.

Placement Fees

$150 to $395 depending on length of placement, includes a 1 month guarantee.  Fees are due on the day your nanny or caregiver starts employment. This fee covers screening and interviewing, advertising, working schedule with responsibilities or employment contract, payroll set-up and on-going support.

Our Guarantee

Our guarantee period only begins from the day your nanny or caregiver starts their employment. ON CALL PLACEMENTS


What is an On Call Placement?

On call placements are any placements which do not require any particular term of employment. Services are charged by the hour up to a maximum of 8 hours a day.  Any hours worked thereafter are charged at over time rates. 

You may need On Call care for the following reasons:

1.  Your regular care provider is sick

2.  You are on holiday away from home

3.  You have an emergency

4.  You need to attend a special function

5.  You are going out on a date with your partner

Type of Care Provided

Child care.  On Call care can be arranged for a Senior person.

On Call Rates

$15 per hour for up to 2 children 8 hours a day.

$2 per hour extra for each additional child up to a maximum of 4 children

Overtime rates apply for any hours worked over 8 hours in a 24 hour period

Responsibilities

On Call Nannies do not do household chores or cooking.  They will prepare simple snacks and meals.

Availability

Bookings are necessary for all areas and services are subject to availability.  We will try out best to accommodate your needs especially in emergency situations.
